Privacy notice

Short version: we keep your enquiry so we can answer it, we don't track you, and you can have everything deleted by asking.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, the project type you pick and the message itself. Nothing is collected in the background — this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no tracking pixels.

Why we keep it

• To answer you. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• To run the project if we end up working together. Same legal basis — performance of a contract.
• To meet accounting law once an invoice exists. Legal basis: legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

How long

Enquiries that don't turn into projects are deleted after twelve months. Project correspondence is kept for the length of the work plus one year. Invoices and the data on them are kept for the period Czech accounting law requires, currently ten years.

Who else sees it

• FormSubmit — delivers the form to our inbox. It sees the message on its way through.
• Zoho Mail (EU data centres) — our mailbox provider.
• GitHub Pages — hosts these static pages. It processes your IP address in its server logs, as any web server does. Transfers outside the EU are covered by GitHub's standard contractual clauses.

We don't sell data, don't share it for advertising and don't use it to train anything.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to us keeping it. Write to info@vorthys.eu — no form needed, and we answer within a month.

If you think we've mishandled something, you can complain to the Czech supervisory authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).
